I am devoted to supporting people in coming into a kinder, safer relationship with themselves, especially with the parts of them that feel anxious, overwhelmed, shut down, or self-critical. Many of the people I work with arrive feeling disconnected from their bodies, emotions, or sense of inner knowing, often carrying a quiet belief that something is wrong with them. I don’t see these experiences as flaws, but as meaningful responses shaped by what you’ve lived through.
I support clients in gently rebuilding connection with their inner world by developing greater awareness of their nervous system, emotional patterns, and embodied responses. As we begin to understand how your system learned to protect you, shame softens and curiosity can emerge. From this place, new ways of relating to yourself and to life become possible—grounded in compassion rather than self-blame.

I am particularly attentive to how early experiences, relational wounds, and chronic stress shape our sense of self, our capacity to feel safe, and the strategies we use to cope. Anxiety, depression, chronic pain, body image struggles, or difficulties with food are often not problems to eliminate, but signals from the body asking to be listened to and understood.
My intention is to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your pace. Together, we work toward strengthening your capacity to stay present with your emotions and bodily sensations, while expanding your ability to move through life with greater clarity, resilience, and self-trust. Healing, as I see it, happens when we feel accompanied—when we don’t have to navigate our inner world alone.
My approach is integrative and person-centred, informed by Internal Family Systems, polyvagal theory and neuroscience, somatic practices, narrative therapy, and unshaming process-oriented work. I honour the inseparable connection between mind and body, and I see the therapeutic relationship itself as a powerful container for change. With over ten years of experience as a certified Expressive Arts Therapist, I also invite creative expression into the therapeutic process when helpful. Through art-making, movement, writing, sound, or imagery, we can access layers of experience that may be difficult to reach through words alone. No artistic experience is required—only openness to explore and listen to what wants to emerge.
In our work together, I offer a steady, compassionate presence as you learn to listen more deeply to yourself, make space for all parts of you, and reconnect with a sense of aliveness, meaning, and inner wisdom—mind, body, and spirit.

My path to becoming a counsellor was shaped by my own life experiences and challenges. As a young child, I experienced and fled war with my family and later navigated the complexities of being a refugee and immigrant. Throughout my life, I have also faced many deep losses. These experiences have made me intimately familiar with the terrain of loss, grief, trauma, and hopelessness.
And yet, they have also been a profound part of my calling. My own journey of healing and finding meaning has taught me what it takes to hold pain with compassion and curiosity – and how transformation can emerge from even the most difficult experiences.
Everything I offer in my work is grounded not only in my professional training but also in a lived understanding of what it means to keep going, to heal, and to discover unexpected gifts in the rubble. -
