  • Many of us come to therapy feeling like something is wrong with us. I help clients unshame those struggles and approach them with gentle curiosity — because your patterns and symptoms often make sense once we understand where they come from. You are not broken, bad, or to blame.

Together, we’ll explore the deeper “why” beneath what you’re experiencing — whether it’s anxiety, depression, chronic pain, low self-esteem, or struggles with food and body. I see symptoms not as problems to fix, but as doorways into your deeper needs, longings, and purpose.

My approach is gentle, empathic, collaborative, and unshaming. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you reconnect with your wisdom, emotions, and body. Through this connection, new possibilities emerge — in how you understand yourself, relate to others, and move through life with greater clarity and self-compassion.

  • My approach is integrative and person-centred, drawing from several perspectives including unshaming process work, polyvagal theory and neuroscience, internal family systems, somatic practices, and narrative therapy. I always honour the deep connection between mind and body in the healing process.

My work with youth and adults is also shaped by over 10 years of experience as a certified Expressive Arts Therapist.

Expressive Arts Therapy invites us to use all forms of creative expression – such as drawing, painting, photography, collage, writing, movement, dance, music, sound, or role-play -  to explore, express, and process our thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

Regardless of age, when we connect with our senses, imagination, and innate capacity to play and create, we often discover new insights and unexpected solutions. I believe that change doesn't always have to come through serious effort or struggle – it can also be deeply engaging, playful, and even magical.
In our work together, the arts are always available as an invitation – as one of many ways to explore and support your process, if and when it feels right for you.

  • My path to becoming a counsellor was shaped by my own life experiences and challenges. As a young child, I experienced and fled war with my family and later navigated the complexities of being a refugee and immigrant. Throughout my life, I have also faced many deep losses. These experiences have made me intimately familiar with the terrain of loss, grief, trauma, and hopelessness.

And yet, they have also been a profound part of my calling. My own journey of healing and finding meaning has taught me what it takes to hold pain with compassion and curiosity – and how transformation can emerge from even the most difficult experiences.

Everything I offer in my work is grounded not only in my professional training but also in a lived understanding of what it means to keep going, to heal, and to discover unexpected gifts in the rubble.
